What is the Techsplore Program?
Our flagship offering, Techsplore is a free of charge, three-day program that introduces participants to the use of coding and technology for good and includes leadership workshops, interactive sessions, technical activities, hackathons, and mentorship. It's also where many of our community members foster genuine sisterhood with like-minded, ambitious young girls. No prior experience is needed, and the program entails different levels of difficulties.
Who can join?
Girls of ages 12 to 19 years old are welcome to join. Techsplore is a welcoming and inclusive place for attendees who are refugees, immigrants, first-generation, and low-income students. We strongly encourage young girls from Lebanon, the Arab World, and the Global South to apply!
What do participants receive after the program ends?
All attendees receive a certificate of participation. Awards are also handed out during Techsplore.
How can I join?
The application to join Techsplore is posted on our website, announced through our social media, and sent out in our monthly newsletter every year in June and July. The program takes place during August, and we offer hybrid options (in person in Lebanon, and online for participants in Lebanon and other countries).
